Frequently Asked Questions

Everything venue coordinators, festival ops, and event managers ask before going live.

Yes — that's exactly why the Event Pass exists. It's a flat $149 for a 14-day window, with unlimited magic links for staff, vendors, and security. No recurring billing. When your event wraps, the Event Pass simply ends.
Re-uploading a layout takes seconds. Most banquet halls and festival grounds keep one master map and duplicate it per event, then drop new pins for that weekend's stage placement, vendor row, or buffet line. The previous event's layout stays archived so you can compare and reuse.
Absolutely not. We hate seat-license paywalls. You are billed based on the capabilities your operation requires. You can generate zero-friction Magic Links for 500 temporary event staff or maintenance workers for the exact same flat rate.
Staff use 'Magic Links' on their phones—they don't need accounts, passwords, or app downloads, and they can only update pin statuses. Managers (available on Pro and Enterprise) are granted secure login credentials to access the Admin dashboard, create new pins, upload maps, and define automated routines.
Yes! Using Smart Routines, you can attach schedules to any pin (e.g., 'Reset to Red every 2 hours'). This is perfect for restroom checks, security sweeps, or VIP area refresh cycles. The pin automates the workflow for you.
Yes. There are no apps to download from the App Store and no passwords to remember. You text them a secure Magic Link. They click it, and the live map instantly opens in their phone's native web browser. If they can use Google Maps, they can use Ready Space.
Ready Space uses Ephemeral Access Tokens. When you generate a Magic Link, you can set an expiration timer (e.g., 8 hours). The second their shift ends, the link expires and they are locked out — or you can manually revoke any link with one click. If you'd rather keep a link open for trusted regulars, that's your call.
No. While you can upload high-res blueprints if you have them, most of our users start by simply taking a smartphone photo of the fire escape plan on the back of their door. As long as it's a clear image (JPEG or PNG), you can upload it and start dropping pins in under 3 minutes.
It supplements them. Radios are great for urgent, vocal broadcasts, but terrible for tracking status. Ready Space acts as your visual 'Source of Truth.' Instead of tying up the radio channel asking 'Is the VIP room clean yet?' or 'Where is the spill?', you just look at the map.
